Greenbrier Ends Demonettes Season

The Warner Robins softball team dropped two games to the Greenbrier Lady Wolfpack yesterday in region crossover action held at  Jones County High School.   Greenbrier was the number one seed fromSunmark-Ad the Augusta side of region  2 AAAAA and Warner Robins was the four seed from their side of the region. If the Demonettes could have managed to win the three game series they would have advanced into the region tournament being held today at Houston County High School starting at 11 AM.

The young Demonette team, which features only one Senior, could manage only two hits in game one. Briana Dollar and Mikayla Tripaldi  each had one hit in the 8- 0, five inning loss.  Courtney Walker took the loss from the rubber in game one.   In game two, Jordan Thomas, Briana Dollar and Mikayla Tripaldi all had hits in the four inning, run rule shortened, game.  Macy Ivester, the lone senior for the demonettes,  was the losing pitcher in game two.

The Demonettes season comes to an end.  Greenbrier advances to face Jones County today a 1 PM in the region tournament at Houston County High Shcool.
