Martens signs with ABAC

Drew Martens of the Perry Panthers signed today in the Perry High School media center. In front of his friends, family, and teammates, Central-Georgia-Technical-collegeMartens signed to play baseball at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. The senior pitcher and center fielder is a top athlete in the region, and is one of the Panthers’ top offensive threats.

“He’s (Martens) put together a good four years of high school. I saw him in the summer and was really impressed with his body of work; he’s a big kid, there’s no doubt about that. He’s got all the talent in the world. If he comes to ABAC and works really hard, I feel like he has a chance to be the face of our program, help us win a lot of ballgames and have (enough)¬†success to move on and play (after)¬†ABAC.” said Head Coach Brandon Reeder of the ABAC Stallions.
