Warner Robins Demons defeat Greenbrier 35-7

The Warner Robins Demons made the Wolfpack howl last night, taking down Greenbrier in their own den in Evans, GA. Though Greenbrier was the first to score early in the second quarter, it was to be their last touchdown of the night. The Demons gave no quarter for the remainder of the game, evening the score 7-7 in the 2nd quarter and heading into halftime with 21 points on the board. With 5:09 to go in the 3rd quarter, the Demons scored again, and delivered the last touchdown of the night with 1:16 to go in the 3rd quarter.


Veterans Warhawks fall to Macon County HS 52-20

The Bulldogs scored first last night in Herb St. John Stadium in Perry, at 5:34 in the 1st quarter on a 78-yard pass, taking a  7-0 lead. Macon County went up 13 to 0, ending the quarter with a 20-0 lead. Desjuan Harris put numbers in the board for Veterans, scoring from 12 yards out, making it 20-7. The Warhawks and Macon County went into halftime with a score of 26-14 in the Bulldogs’ favor. Macon County blitzkrieged the game in the third quarter, scoring two touchdowns 2 minutes apart, bringing the score 38-14; 1:30 later, the Bulldogs lit up the scoreboard again on a 43-yard interception return, 45-14. With 3:32 to go, Veterans scored on a 12-yard run, 45-20. The Bulldogs delivered the final touchdown of the game with 3:08 left to go in the 3rd quarter.
