Warner Robins rolls past Thomas County Central

Warner Robins dominated Thomas County Central Saturday on the road. The Demons won 42-10, compiling more than 450 yards in offense in the process. TCC had just over 150 and did manage to get on the board first with a 26-yard field goal from Caleb Clark.

That was short-lived thanks to a 77-yard pass from Dylan Fromm to Marcayll Jones – one of three he would catch. Samarly Howard made it 7-3 with his point after – one of six he would make. That came with less than a minute to play in the first.

Warner Robins made it 14-3 with a 32-yard pass from Fromm to Jones. The Yellow Jackets were still game at that point and cut it to 14-10 on Tykeem Wallace’s one-yard run.

Fromm, Jones and company, helped the Demons pull away after that. First Fromm hit Jones for a 63-yard score. Then, Deondre Duehart scored on a 12-yard run. That capped off a 74-yard drive with just over eight minutes left in the third and made it 28-0.

Ahmad Walker’s pick six of 45 yards and Christian Anderson’s 29-yard touchdown run finished off the scoring. That came just inside one minute left to play in the third.

The fourth was played with a running clock.

Warner Robins improved to 7-1 overall with the win, 2-0 in Region 1-AAAAA. Thomas County Central in turn fell to 5-2, 0-1.
