Perry had little trouble getting past West Laurens Friday on the road. The Panthers posted their second shutout of the year, beating the Raiders 32-0.
The first quarter was a bit of a slugfest with both punting and/or turning it over on downs. Perry began its rise with a field goal the following another West Laurens punt, a touchdown and two-point conversion. That made it 11-0, which is where it stood at the half.
Two touchdowns in the third put the Panthers up 25-0 while their lone touchdown in the fourth made it the final.
They improved to 6-1 overall, 2-1 in Region 4-AAAA. West Laurens dropped to 3-5, 1-3.
