Veterans girls, boys 12th in GADA Director’s Cup standings

Twelfth out of 56 high schools. That’s where Veterans High’s girls and boys landed in the final AAAAA standings of the 2018-2019 Georgia Athletic Director’s Association Director’s Cup – a measure of how well the two (all schools) did in all sports (minus those – riflery, lacrosse – not played locally; but still scored).

The Warhawks-Lady Warhawks finished with 749 points. Ten more and they could have surpassed Chamblee in 11th. Eleven more and they would have cracked the top 10.

Starr’s Mill finished first. Its girls and boys finished with 1,286. Buford had 1,277, McIntosh 1,168, Carrollton 1,160, and in fifth Riverwood with 931.
