Ethan Kenney’s passion for baseball comes from years of growing with the game and embracing its constant challenges. As a player for HoCo Baseball, he values the strong team culture, accountability, and camaraderie that define the program. On game days, he keeps his routine simple with a light snack to stay energized and he cannot eat anything hot.
His favorite memory from the 2026 season so far is his game-tying home run against Northridge, AL in LaGrange. Outside of baseball, Kenney enjoys spending time with friends and relaxing away from the game, maintaining balance while staying focused on his development. So far as of May 1st, Kenney has faced 249 batters on the bump and has walked only seven batters.
In Game Two of the Sweet Sixteen matchup against Newnan, Ethan Kenney pitched a complete game by surrendering one earned run on three hits while walking one, and striking out seven to help his team reach the Elite Eight. Earlier today, Ethan Kenney announced his commitment to play college baseball at Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven, Georgia.
