The HoCo Bears’ boys basketball team opened their Playoff run at home against the North Atlanta Warriors and the visitors would upset the host by winning 58-44 to end the Bears’ season.
North Atlanta led 12-6 after one and 27-12 at the half and they kept the host at bay by leading 46-30 after three and eventually winning 58-44. Joshua Griffith led the Warriors in scoring with 25 pts followed by T. Thompson with 13 pts and HoCo was led in scoring by Devan Robinson with 12 pts followed by Coby Salter with 11 pts.
North Atlanta improves to 12-15 overall and will play at Grovetown either Friday or Saturday in the Sweet Sixteen while HoCo’s season comes to an end at 15-12 overall.
