Perry football announced today the following cancellations in play due to Covid concerns. This according to a Perry athletics page facebook post:
Due to a recent positive COVID-19 test; the following safety precautions are being taken:
– JV football game against Warner Robins on Sept. 17th is cancelled
– Varsity football game against Hampton on Sept 18th is cancelled
– JV football game against Veterans on Sept 24th is cancelled
– Varsity football game against Veterans on Sept 25th is cancelled
The post reports that attempts will be made to reschedule these games.
Perry High is working with Hampton High school to refund tickets purchased in advance.
