The Demonettes will enter the AAAAA Playoffs as the 4-seed out of region 2-AAAAA while the Lady Greyhounds will enter as the 2-seed and on the boys’ end, the Demons will be the 3-seed while the Greyhounds will be the 4-seed.

In region 1-AAAAAA, the HoCo boys finished 2nd in the regular season region standings at 7-3 and have automatically qualified for the State Playoffs and will have a first round BYE in the region tournament. The Warhawks will take on county rival Northside in the region tourney first round tomorrow at Thomas Co Central, winner advances to the next round and makes the State Playoffs.
The Veterans girls finished 2nd in region play as they finished the regular season at 9-1 in region competition and lost the tiebreaker to Tift Co in score differential in the two games these two played against each other with Tift Co winning by 11 and Veterans winning by nine.
The Lady Warhawks are in the State Playoffs and have a first round region tourney BYE. HoCo girls will take on Lee Co while the Northside girls will take on Thomas Co Central at TCCHS tomorrow to see if they will make the playoffs or not. The Perry boys have been eliminated from Playoff contention with their loss to Spalding last Thursday and no word on whether the Perry girls have been eliminated or if they made the State Playoffs in AAAA
