Demons rolled by Jones Co; other results from earlier this week

The Warner Robins Demons fell at home to the Jones Co Greyhounds 11-1 in five innings yesterday evening. The Greyhounds scored four in the first, two in the second, none in the third, three in the fourth, and two in the fifth which was highlighted by a two-run jack to left by starting pitcher Dawson Harris in the top half of the second.

The Demons’ lone run came in the bottom half of the fourth when Brandon Massie hit an infield rbi single that ran in Drew White. Warner Robins lost at Jones Co this past Monday 14-0 in five innings and currently sit at 6-18 overall; 4-13 in region play while the Greyhounds are currently 8-21 overall; 8-9 in region play. Warner Robins hosts county rival Northside this evening at 6pm for Senior Night.

The Northside Eagles hosted the Peach Co Trojans on Tuesday and lost 10-0 in five innings to fall to 3-26 overall while the Trojans improved to 13-14 overall. The Perry Panthers have picked up another region series win as they shutout the Howard Huskies on Monday at home 15-0 in four innings and defeated the Huskies again yesterday on the road 12-1 in six innings.

The Panthers are currently 23-6 overall; 14-3 in region play while Howard is currently 8-14 overall; 6-10 in region play. These two teams will battle one more time tomorrow evening at 6:30pm at the Panther Pit for Senior Night.
