The Jones Co Greyhounds hosted the Union Grove Wolverines earlier tonight and the result was a dominate Greyhounds victory 41-7 to end the regular season. The Purple, Gold, Black, and White led 14-0 after one and 34-0 at the half and ended in a 7-7 tie in the second half to preserve the 30+ point victory on senior night.
Jones Co finishes the regular season at 7-3 overall; 5-1 in region play and will be the 2 seed in Region 2-AAAAA going into the State Playoffs and will host the 3 seed out of 3-AAAAA… the Northside Columbus Patriots at Greyhound Field next week while Union Grove finishes their 2023 season at 1-9 overall; 1-5 in region play.
