HoCo Football 2023 Spring Preview: Bears look to have a big season with a large senior class

The Houston County Bears Football team is coming off a historic 2022 season where they averaged 45.1 ppg in the regular season (451 points scored) which is a school single season record for points scored in the regular season and set the complete season record for points scored with 556 in 13 games in 2022.

The Bears had their Bear Hunt yesterday evening at Freedom Field (which was lightning delayed by an hour) where fans got to see HoCo practice for which it was also attended by multiple college coaches. Second year head coach Jeremy Edwards commented on about how many seniors he looks to have on the 2023 team….

“Obviously we’ll have a big senior class this year um… little over 35 so obviously that kind of fluctuates through the summer… who is gonna stick it out and things like that but we’re expecting big things from this senior class.”
