Perry Baseball 2023 came to an end yesterday evening as Wayne Co took Game 2 9-2 to force Game 3 and the Yellow Jackets took Game 3 12-2 in five to advance to the Elite Eight in the AAAA Playoffs and will face off against the Lovett Lions on the road.
The Panthers end 2023 at 27-8 overall… plating 304 runs 8.69 per game and allowed 79 runs 2.26 per game with a run differential of +225 +6.43 per game and recorded 14 shutouts. In Game 2, Perry allowed seven runs in the top half of the fourth and in Game 3, Wayne Co plated a run in the first, three in the second, none in the third, six in the fourth, and two in the fifth while Perry plated a run in the fourth and fifth innings.
In Game 2, the Panthers plated a run in the fifth and seventh innings and Wayne Co got two in the first.
