The Perry basketball teams traveled to Milledgeville to play the Baldwin Braves and the result was the Panthers getting swept with the girls losing 74-23 and the boys losing 82-56. The Lady Panthers fall to 5-10 overall; 2-4 in region play while the Lady Braves improve to 16-2 overall; 8-0 in region play.
The Panthers fall to 4-12 overall; 1-5 in region play while the Braves improve 16-2 overall; 8-0 in region play. Perry travels to Bibb Co to play Westside (Macon) tomorrow night while Baldwin will host Washington Co on Saturday Night in a non-region tilt.
Elsewhere; the Jones Co teams hosted Union Grove earlier tonight and the Lady Greyhounds lost to the Lady Wolverines 49-39. No score has been reported on the boys’ game at this time. The Union Grove girls improve to 18-1 overall; 8-0 in region play while the Jones Co girls fall to 14-5 overall; 4-3 in region play.
Jones Co will travel to play Locust Grove tomorrow night while Union Grove will host Northside (Columbus) in a non-region tilt Saturday Afternoon.
