The Warner Robins Demons are looking to make it to the State Final for a whopping seventh consecutive season in 2023 but the road will be difficult as it is every season. Last season, the Demons were not as strong as they were from 2018-2021 as they struggled severely on offense averaging just over eight points a game in their first five games but their offense improved the second half of the regular season and continued into the Playoffs.
The Cardinal, White, and Black looked to be headed for an exit in the Elite Eight but they picked up a massive road win at Creekside and then flattened Cartersville in the Final Four at home. Warner Robins was outmatched by Ware Co in the Final falling 38-13. The Demons will be led by new head coach Shane Sams who will make is debut as the ‘skipper’ of the Cardinal, White, and Black this Friday at Lee Co.
A notable starter to keep an eye out on in his senior season is Isiah Canion. Warner Robins’ marquee matchups look to be against; Lee Co, Northside, Valdosta, Dutchtown, HoCo, and Jones Co.
