The Warner Robins basketball teams made the trip to Jesup last night and got the sweep over the Wayne Co Yellowjackets. The Warner Robins girls won 55-40 to finish the regular season at 23-0 overall; 8-0 in region play as their historic season continues to the region tournament.
The Demons demolished Wayne Co 81-36 to keep their hopes of hosting the region tournament alive as they will play at Benedictine tomorrow evening to decide who will host the region tournament. Elsewhere, the Perry boys hosted Benedictine and lost 68-58 to finish the regular season at 4-21 overall; 1-9 in region play.
The Warner Robins boys improved to 15-6 overall; 7-2 in region play. The Demonettes have won by an average of 27.6 ppg.
