The Warner Robins Demons hosted the Benedictine Cadets in a marquee region matchup and the result was a 35-21 Cadets’ victory. The visitors led 21-7 at halftime after scoring the game’s first 21 points, Warner Robins got on the board late in the first half when Skyler Williams found Rasean Dinkins on a 35 yard touchdown strike.
The second half would end in a 14-14 draw to make the final score Benedictine 35 Warner Robins 21. The loss snapped the Cardinal, Black, and White’s 5-game win streak as they fall to 5-2 on the season; 1-1 in region play and will return to action in two weeks at New Hampstead.
Elsewhere, the Veterans Warhawks made the trip to Thomasville to take on the the Thomas Co Central Yellowjackets and the result was a dominating TCC victory 61-10. Warhawks’ Brayden Black made a 40 yard field goal in quarter one and the visitors scored a touchdown late in the first half and the score would be 38-10 TCC at the half and the final score would be 61-10 in favor of the Yellowjackets.
The Red, White, and Blue fall to 0-7 overall; 0-2 in region play and will host Lee Co in two weeks.
