Demons overcome slow start to topple Benedictine

The Warner Robins Demons hosted the Benedictine Cadets earlier tonight and the result was a 62-48 Cardinal, Black, and White victory 62-48 to push the Demons above .500 since they were 3-2. The host led 18-16 after one but got outscored 15-6 in quarter two to trail 31-24 at the half.

The Cadets pushed it’s lead to 35-26 in the third quarter before Warner Robins got on a tear and outscored the visitors 19-8 to take a 45-43 lead heading into the final frame. The host would clamp down on Benedictine by outscoring them 17-5 in the fourth to win 62-48. Tristan Warren led the Demons in scoring with 16 points followed by Tyler Harris with 14 points while the Cadets were led in scoring by EJ Washington with 22 points.

Warner Robins improves to 11-10 overall; 6-1 in region play and will host longtime county rival Northside tomorrow afternoon.
