Houston County hosted Warner Robins Thursday. It represented the third game of the year for the Demonettes/Demons and the first for the Lady Bears/Bears.
On the girls’ side, Houston County, with 50 percent 3-point shooting and out-rebounding its visitor 46-38, pulled away in the second half for a 46-40 win. The loss was the first for Warner Robins, putting it at 2-1 and of course it marked a great start for the Lady Bears, now 1-0.
That was reversed for the boys. The Demons beat the Bears 65-44. The improved to 2-1 as well, making the Bears 0-1.
