Lady Panthers clobber Howard on the road; Lady Bulldogs dominate Pike Co

The Perry Lady Panthers traveled to Howard yesterday or Tuesday but most likely yesterday and won 55-32 over the Lady Huskies to improve to 4-7 overall; 2-2 in region play while Howard falls to 2-13 overall; 0-6 in region play. Perry is scheduled to play Baldwin tomorrow night at home while Howard hosts West Laurens tomorrow night.

Earlier tonight; the Mary Persons Bulldogs teams had their region openers at home against Pike Co and the girls won big over the Lady Pirates 73-41 to improve to 14-3 overall; 1-0 in region play while Pike Co falls to 7-3 overall; 0-1 in region play. No score has been reported on the boys’ game at this time.

Mary Persons will host Lamar Co in a non-region contest on Saturday while Pike Co will travel to Fort Valley to play Peach Co next Tuesday.
