The Perry Panthers basketball team traveled to play the Howard Huskies in a region matchup that was originally scheduled for Tuesday but got pushed to Wednesday due to the severe weather and the result was a 51-43 Maroon, Gold, Black, and White victory by a final score of 51-43.
Perry improves to 3-9 overall; 1-3 in region play while the Huskies fell to 6-9 overall; 1-5 in region play. The Panthers will host Baldwin on Friday while Howard will host West Laurens on Friday. No score has been reported on the girls game played prior to the boys at this time.
