The Veterans Lady Warhawks traveled to Fairburn to play the Hughes Lady Panthers in the Elite Eight and the Lady Warhawks got a massive win 60-56 to advance to the Final Four in the GHSA AAAAAA Basketball Playoffs. Veterans improves to 24-6 overall and will take on the 30-0 North Forsyth Lady Raiders on Saturday at 1pm at the University of West Georgia for the right to go to the Final at the Macon Coliseum.
The Jones Co Lady Greyhounds hosted the Midtown Lady Knights and lost 58-37 to wrap up their season at 23-7 overall while Midtown will play the Dalton Lady Catamounts in the Final Four at West Georgia on Friday. it turns out that the Warner Robins Demons played tonight in Winder, GA to play the Winder-Barrow Bulldogs and lost a close contest 66-64 to finish their season at 22-8 overall and Winder-Barrow will play at West Georgia against defending state champ Kell in the Final Four
