Perry and Veterans set to face-off tonight at Freedom Field

The Veterans Warhawks are set to host county rival Perry for the 14th time later tonight. The Warhawks are coming off a BYE and are currently 2-0 on the season with a 42-6 victory over Richmond Academy and a 35-0 shutout victory over Griffin. The Panthers are 1-1 on the season with a 42-35 loss to county rival HoCo and a 54-21 beatdown victory over Jones Co.

Last season’s contest took place at Herb St. John Stadium and the Maroon, Gold, and White dominated the Warhawks by winning 37-6 with the Red, White, and Blue scoring a TD on the last play of the game.
