Bulldogs’ head coach Brian Nelson going for his 100th career win tomorrow night

Tomorrow night; the Mary Persons Bulldogs will host the Haralson Co Rebels at Dan Pitts Field and will be looking to give their head coach Brian Nelson a milestone win. A Mary Persons victory will give Coach Nelson his 100th career win as the Bulldogs head coach.

Coach Nelson is 99-37 all-time at MP and is currently in his 12th season as the Black, Gold, and White’s ‘skipper’ with a 2-1 record so far in 2023. Coach Nelson made his head coaching debut for the Bulldogs on August 31st, 2012 at rival Jackson which resulted in a tight 24-23 loss. The following week at home, Coach Nelson picked his first career win by defeating Jones Co 25-21.

The Black, Gold, and White have missed the Playoffs once under Coach Nelson which occurred in 2020.
