Perry Football Spring 2025: Panthers looking to fill graduation spots

The Perry Panthers’ football team is in the midst of spring practice as they prep for the summer and ultimately.. the season that begins in mid-August. The Maroon, Gold, and White are looking to fill in the spots that are open due to graduating players. Last season saw Perry go 8-4 after being eliminated in the Sweet Sixteen by Eastside 21-10.

The Panthers got big region wins over Ware Co and Benedictine that helped them win the region title. The Maroon, Gold, and White opened region play against New Hampstead and won in a high-scoring blowout 80-47 setting the school record for most points scored in a single game.

Perry looks to continue to build towards the season as they play a strong non-region and region schedule. Click the video down below to hear head coach Kevin Smith’s interview with Sportsmic team member Cole Powell.
