Jones Co made the trip to Henry Co to take on the Ola Mustangs in a region battle and the result was a 2-0 Mustangs’ shutout victory. Ola plated a run in the last of the first and later in the last of the third (both runs were scored via an rbi single) and that would be the final score of the contest.
Greyhounds’ SP Landon Pettigrew pitched a complete game and surrendered two runs (one earned) on seven hits, walking three, and striking out three in the process. The Purple, Gold, Black, and White fall to 14-4 overall; 8-3 in region play and will host Ola in a region rematch on Wednesday Evening.
