Veterans shuts out ACE Charter

The Veterans Warhawks earned a crisp 2–0 shutout victory over the Ace Charter Gryphons in a non-region contest highlighted by strong pitching and timely hitting.

Veterans opened the scoring in the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Dillon Harris, then added an insurance run in the third when Landin Grant delivered an RBI single. That was all the offense needed as the Warhawks’ defense and pitching took over.

Senior Brandon Fuller was outstanding on the mound on senior night, tossing a complete-game shutout. He allowed six hits, walked none, striking out two, and kept the Gryphons off the scoreboard throughout his seven innings of work.

With the win, Veterans improves to 12–9 on the season and now turns its focus to a non-region doubleheader at home against the Peach County Trojans with game one slated for 3 P.M.
