The Warner Robins Demonettes picked up a couple of wins to finish off the week last week. Warner Robins traveled to Union Grove on Thursday 12/01 and got the dub 61-48 to improve to 4-0 overall, 2-0 in region play.
On Saturday the Demonettes traveled to Peach County to play the Lady Trojans, a game the Demonettes would win in a close 51-47 contest to improve to 5-0 on the season.
Houston County picked up two wins on Friday & Saturday starting with a dominate 51-13 home win over Rutland and a 50-42 road win at County rival Perry, this was Perry’s season opening game by the way.
The Lady Bears currently sit at 4-2 overall.
The Lady Panthers fell to 0-1 overall. The Lady Eagles fell to Jones Co 61-30 on the road and their overall record sits at 1-2. The Lady Greyhounds improved to 3-2 overall.
On the boys end, the Warner Robins Demons went 1-1 in the latter part of the week starting with a 60-54 road loss to Union Grove and then rebounding with a dominant road win over Peach Co 76-40 to bring the Demons record to 4-1 overall, 1-1 in region play.
The Perry boys played their season opener yesterday at home against County rival Houston Co and lost 66-45 to the Bears. HoCo improved to 4-3 overall while the Panthers fell to 0-1 overall. HoCo also played Rutland on Friday at home and won 59-52. The Northside boys traveled up to Gray to play Jones Co yesterday with the Greyhounds taking down the Eagles 79-47 to improve to 6-0 overall. The Eagles fell to 1-2 overall.
