Despite recent inconsistency on offense; HoCo finds ways to keep winning

The Houston County Bears baseball team is currently 14-3 overall; 7-0 in region play riding the coattails of a seven-game win streak but the Bears have been inconsistent on offense recently as they have scored 27 runs in their last four games with 14 of those in game one of their doubleheader against Veterans alone which is not what you typically see out of the Black, Silver, and White’s offense.

One thing that has stayed strong throughout for HoCo has been their pitching and defense as they have given up only seven runs in seven region games thus far and 45 runs allowed for the season through 17 games which an avg of 2.65 runs allowed per game. On offense currently, the Bears are averaging just over nine runs per game.
