Eagles still looking for win; HoCo, Vets undefeated

Life – baseball – has not been kind to Northside to date. The Eagles have played four games and lost all four. The latest, Monday, was a 14-0 shutout at the hands of Veterans.

Prior, Northside fell 4-3 to Dodge County and lost back-to-back games to Warner Robins on separate days. It fell 11-0 to it Feb. 15 and 15-2 Feb. 18.

Against the Warhawks, four pitchers limited the Eagles to just three hits. It had 17 – led by Tanner O’Neal with two in three trips to the plate, three RBIs and two runs scored. Veterans is 3-0 after beating Northside, Howard (5-4 on Feb. 16) and Perry (5-4 on Feb. 17).

Perry is currently 2-3. Houston County is 3-0 and the Demons are 2-1.
