Greyhounds dominate Eagle’s Landing twice, Demons, Eagles, and Bulldogs fall

The Jones Co Greyhounds traveled to Henry Co to play the Eagle’s Landing Golden Eagles in a region doubleheader earlier today after weather cancelled the two games on Friday thus cancelling the Greyhounds’ road game against Perry that was slated for today and the Purple, Gold, Black, and White won game one 13-2 in five and took game two by demolishing the host 25-2 in three innings.

The Greyhounds plated a ridiculous 19 runs in the top half of inning one in game two. Jones Co improves to 4-6 overall; 3-3 in region play and is scheduled to host West Laurens on Thursday while Eagle’s Landing falls to 6-6 overall; 0-6 in region play and will host Union Grove tomorrow in a new region series.

Warner Robins hosted Southwest out of Macon and lost a tight battle 3-2 to fall to 4-7 overall and will host Dutchtown tomorrow in a region battle and Northside traveled to Macon to take on CFCA and they fell 9-1 to split the series with the Lancers. The Eagles fall to 4-9 overall and will host Lee Co in a region battle tomorrow.

The Mary Persons Bulldogs traveled to play the First Presbyterian Day Vikings and lost a close one 4-3 to fall to .500 at 5-5 overall and will host Bleckley Co on Wednesday.
