The Mary Persons Bulldogs played at Jones Co on Friday and won 15-0 to improve to 2-1 on the season while the Greyhounds fell to 0-2 on the season. MP’s next game will be on Tuesday in Henry Co when the Bulldogs take on the Ola Mustangs and Jones Co will host Howard this upcoming Wednesday. No score has been reported for Northside’s game at Westside (Macon) from this past Tuesday and their road game against Taylor Co on Monday got rained out.
The Perry Panthers went to Savannah for a weekend tournament and they went 2-1 in their three games on the Georgia Coast starting with a 13-5 win over Effingham Co and followed up with a 16-9 loss to Calvary Day and they ended the tournament with a close 6-5 victory over South Effingham to currently sit at 3-1 on the season.
The Veterans Warhawks had their home opener this past Friday against the West Laurens Raiders and the Red, White, and Blue picked up a big early season victory 4-3 to start off at 2-0 on the season. The Warhawks will travel to Eastman to play the Dodge Co Indians on Tuesday.
Warner Robins will have their home opener tomorrow at 5pm and Northside will host county rival Perry on Tuesday for their home opener. Warner Robins and Northside played each other last Friday and Warner Robins won 10-3 at home and they are 1-1 on the season while the Eagles are 0-1.
