Greyhounds rally from five down to win, Demons swept, Perry dominates Spalding

The Jones Co Greyhounds hosted the Eagle’s Landing Golden Eagles in a region contest earlier today and the visitors plated the first five runs in the contest but the Greyhounds were able to end the game on a 6-0 run to win 6-5 to improve to 2-6 overall; 1-3 in region play while the Golden Eagles fall to 6-4 overall; 0-4 in region play and these two will meet in Henry County tomorrow for a doubleheader.

The Warner Robins Demons continued region play in Henry Co against the Locust Grove Wildcats and the Wildcats swept the Demons by winning 9-4 in game one and 12-2 in six innings in game two to improve to 8-3 overall; 5-0 in region play while Warner Robins fell to 4-6 overall; 0-5 in region play and these two have one more game against each other at Warner Robins but that date is unknown at this time.

The Perry Panthers hosted the Spalding Jaguars and the result was a Panthers’ shutout victory 10-0 in five innings. The Maroon, Gold, and White plated seven runs in the last of the third and they improve to 9-2 overall; 2-1 in region play while Spalding falls to 3-6 overall; 1-1 in region play and these two will face-off again tomorrow in Griffin.
