Perry dominates Westside, Northside obliterated, Demons lose by one again

Yesterday, the Perry Panthers traveled to Macon to play the Westside Seminoles and the Maroon, Gold, and White dominated the host to win 15-0 in four innings. The Panthers plated eight in the first, zero in the second, two in the third, and five in the fourth. Perry’s Kam Vandersee led the team in rbis with three. Perry improves to 11-2 overall; 4-1 in region play and is scheduled to host the Seminoles on Friday.

The Northside Eagles hosted Lee Co in a region contest and the visitors took care of business by winning 19-0 in five to give the Trojans their first region win of the season and they are 7-6 overall; 1-3 in region play while the Eagles fall to 4-10 overall; 0-4 in region play and is scheduled to travel to Leesburg for the doubleheader on Friday.

The Warner Robins Demons hosted Dutchtown in a region battle and for the second consecutive game, the Demons lose at home by one run, this time 4-3. The host led 1-0 for four innings before the Bulldogs plated four in the top of inning five and Warner Robins’ rally in the last of the seventh came one run short after plating two.

The Demons fall to 4-8 overall; 0-7 in region play and will host county rival Perry tomorrow at 4pm.
